EMERGEOUT Conclave 2008: Closing Remarks
Dr. Ganesh Natarajan talked about a research project they undertook. They studied 3 people for 6 months.
- Bawa Kalyani from Pune who created the world’s largest forging company.
- Kalyani mistry with Aakanksha (NGO helping young kids become self-dependent)
- Dev Anand
What they found common among all 3 of these people is the “Ability to take passion from within your heart and transfer to others (your team)”.
NASSCOM started focusing on emerging companies 3 years back and it has been a great success. Ability for small companies to come together and share ideas is the key to success for NASSCOM’s emerging companies forum.
Dr. Natarajan talked about need for building a point of view about the future. Determine what will be the dominant market, what would be the market requirement. Then look at your strengths and weaknesses to determine how you can best position yourself to leverage the opportunity.
Mr. Som Mittal thanked everyone and specially Avinash Raghava for putting this wonderful event together.
Mr. Mittal then presented momentos to all the mentors for their work and participation.
