Thanks for this wonderful initiative. Such initiatives will spur companies to greater heights.
A suggestion – It would be good if you can provide a 1-line description of the companies listed here and hyperlink them to their websites. That provides the curious reader a little more meat to chew on.

This initiative is the tangible evidence that NASSCOM is heeding the voice of the SME/emerging enterprises. With the last mile service provider coming into focus with end clients, such a grading cud not have been more timely and in itself, demonstrative of India’s immense capacity/apptitude in IT across all levels.

Kudos to NASSCOM for this wonderful initiative. It would be great if the specific achievements, expertise area, product and service domain, horizontal and vertical offerings, End Client Comments etc. are specifically featured and there could be an independent body of experts who could review at least four products every month from these 50 Companies.

Now that’s a reason to celebrate.It’s a treat to see “Robust Designs” in the Top 50 list.

Congrats to Nasscom as well as those who got shortlisted.

Now that this select group will be focused for further enrichment, we must not forget those who missed the list. Especially those cos which did not participate at all due to their fears or shyness or those which did not take this opportunity seriously.

As a matter of Community governance and moral leadership, it is time that we now focus on those left behind or non participants. Too many cos. exist in that segment for multiple reasons/constraints of their own. They may be tied with routines or feel they are too small. Either way they deserve to be considered for tomorrow.

What are mitigation approaches? Can we as Nasscom Community start publicizing such initiatives for tiny and small IT outfits spread in metros as well as tier 2 and 3 towns? How do we reach out to them with personal touch and get them into our foothold as INCLUSIVE and AFFIRMATIVE initiative is to be worked out.

Time to think in that direction too, so that our action plan is at least be ready by Aug 09 event and be announced by that time.

While it is time to rejoice for these 50 cos, we should also build platform for those left out, to review and be prepared to get in next year.

- internal IT support team – what head count full time people
- internal server back bone or 3rd party hosting for emailing, website, apps development and VSS etc
- 3rd party outsourced or IT support done in house
- bandwidth in your HO and branch offices
- Approx headcount total in your organization ; how many in senior management levels ( CXOs, Leaders in business and technology side), rest in tech business/ delivery area, how many in non tech support functions ( admin, HR, accounts)
- How many people in sales and marketing full time besides leaders
- How many software application products or solutions do you have as your own property which you sell
- 100% domestics clients or 100% overseas clients or part each
- Any case tools or rapid app dev tools used for sw design and development and delivery
- Any software quality certification like ISO or CMMI
- Do you find such quality certification relevant for your business growth
- Biggest issue in internal efficiency and smart operations
- Count of monthly travels outstation
