NASSCOM EMERGE Products Showcase – A CIO Dialogue with Start-up/Emerging Companies
In an exclusive session at the NASSCOM Product Conclave on 28th October 2009, we will offer an opportunity for start-up/emerging companies to showcase their software enterprise products to the CIO community. The CIO community is hard pressed for IT budgets and the squeeze can at times be nerve racking when it comes to vendor performance. Sessions such as these would aim to address the problem of choice under a new light, by introducing some new solutions which has the potential to address an enterprise wide requirement, yet being financially viable.
The session will be attended by CIOs, product companies, the jury members, potential ISV partners as the audience. Altogether we will have around 12-15 companies which will get an opportunity to showcase their products.
The selection committee for the NASSCOM EMERGE Products Showcase are:
- Ajay K. Dhir, Chief Information Officer, Jindal Steel Limited
- Anil Bakht – MD, Eastern Software Systems
- Chakrapani Perangur, CIO, Tata Sky Ltd
- Sangeeta Patni – Co-Founder and President, Extensio Software,
- Vijay Anand – Head, Incubation facility at RTBI, IIT Madras
- Vijay Doddavaram, CIO Texas Instruments
Some of the benefits offered to the companies are:
- An opportunity to showcase to the CIO community at the NASSCOM Product Conclave 2009
- A directory of enterprise software products(soft copy) will be made available on the NASSCOM site which will also be circulated to the members of the CIO Association of India
- NASSCOM support through suggested partners, providing maximum value to these companies
- Mentoring, to be offered by industry leaders or someone nominated from the larger players who can spend time with the finalists
- Visibility on NASSCOM’s web site, which will showcase and promote these companies
