Sharad Sharma (CANAAN), Avinash Raghava (NASSCOM) and Bloggers by the Poolside at the NASSCOM PRODUCT CONCLAVE
Loading ...The first day at the NASSCOM PRODUCT CONCLAVE drew to a close with the entire community at the pool side for the gala networking dinner.
Amongst the most interesting discussions held and people I met, was Mr. Sharad Sharma (Partner, CANAAN Partners) with Mr. Avinash Raghava (NASSCOM). Now its not that I met Sharad or Avinash for the first time, in fact we have met at many previous events and opportunities. But the discussion last night was much interesting.
We had Sharad, Avinash flanked by a whole group of bloggers who had come to the NASSCOM PRODUCT CONCLAVE. Being an Official Blogger with NASSCOM for over and knowing all of them, it was interesting to follow the discussion.
Let me start by quoting a blogger:
For the first time we feel that NASSCOM is approachable
I must personally congratulate Avinash and the entire team NASSCOM for putting together an amazing show. In my view as compared to the last year, the PRODUCT CONCLAVE is much bigger in scale and size. Its much better structured. I did feel the difference in the sessions. This year, we could take-away real learnings from sessions, which could result into actionable items for many a start-ups.
Mr. Sharma, started by thanking the group of bloggers for building the zest and keeping the momentum on. Appreciating and creating a directive for the blogging community, Mr. Sharma did accept and was high words for the power that a combined blogging group can bring together and help Indian companies raise up and explore new media for marketing. Mentioning SEO, SEM and SMM, Sharad showed key interest in the domain.
Sharing his vision Sharad says: You guys are a great group of bloggers, with much power in hand and you know this domain well. We need to create structures which can establish India not only for the Indian companies, but which gets noticed at International platforms
Congratulating Avinash and Team for their efforts, Sharad is high words for the entire organization and spend some good quality time with the entrepreneurs and blogging fraternity present at the event. Sharing his experience of the NASSCOM of the past and now of the present, Sharad talks of change with a big smile on his face which is resonated by Avinash as well. And since I have been a part of NASSCOM, officially blogging Friday’s 2.0 at Delhi and other events, I do agree to Sharad and Avinash on the same, I see change for the good!
Flipping the table, Sharad, asks the bloggers, ideas as to how they would want NASSCOM to support/ help them, in creating visions and taking the entire effort to greater heights.
Sharad, as always was highly interactive with an open discussion with actionable steps which are to be worked upon.
Talking about feedback and thanking the team, we all move for the dinner.
I thank Avinash and Sharad and the entire group of bloggers, for the amazing discussion. I am sure there are more things coming out of this.
