There is no bad time for entrepreneur
One should not spend anything on marketing and should use social networking sites instead, says Guy Kawasaki
Garage Technology Ventures managing director Guy Kawasaki said that those who think negatively in a bad market condition is not an entrepreneur.
While speaking at the session, The Art of the Start, as part of the two-day Product Enclave and Expo 2009 by NASSCOM here, Kawasaki said that it is never a bad time to start a venture.
“Today the market is in recession; no one is spending, so if one thinks that how can we start in this market condition, then he is not an entrepreneur, because for an entrepreneur, it is never a bad time to start.” said Kawasaki.
He also said that one should not spend anything on marketing and should use social networking sites instead.
He observed that Tweet MeMe is the best marketing platform for today. “It has got the best mechanism to reach out to people. Some believe that Twitter is a social medium. On the antithesis, it is a mechanism to push out information,” he added.
