NASSCOM and NEN Partner for Entrepreneurship Week India

NASSCOM is supporting NEN for Entrepreneurship Week India 2010.

From February 6 to 13, lakhs of participants across the country will come together through a range of programs and events to explore their potential as leaders and innovators. Designed to embrace innovation and engage communities, E Week India will see the active involvement of more than 30 organizations that support entrepreneurship; corporate houses; business leaders; industry experts; non-profit leaders and faculty leaders to inspire, encourage and mentor participants.

Supported by the Wadhwani Foundation and run by the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), this year’s EWeek is set to be the biggest yet – engaging over 400,000 participants through 4000 events in 30 cities!

E Week India 2010 Theme: India – Opportunities Within
Especially significant is this year’s E Week theme “India: Opportunities Within”. India faces daunting challenges across many sectors: water, healthcare, energy, education, waste management, transportation and more. As pressure mounts and the cost of technology drops, these challenges provide enormous economic opportunities to those solving them.  Keeping this in mind, this year’s E Week programs and events will focus attention of the next generation of entrepreneurs on these often-overlooked opportunities.

How Can You Get Involved?
Whether you are a student, academic, entrepreneur, or a corporate professional – there are many ways to join E Week. Browse through the Get Involved page: you will find ideas to organize events that inform and connect entrepreneurs; resources to plan and market your activities; features to share your stories – and a lot more in the coming days!

Every one of us from the entrepreneurial community is excited about the coming E Week and we seek you to join us in building a strong, entrepreneurial India!
