Dr. Ganesh Natarajan talked about a research project they undertook. They studied 3 people for 6 months.

- Kalyani mistry with Aakanksha (NGO helping young kids become self-dependent)

What they found common among all 3 of these people is the “Ability to take passion from within your heart and transfer to others (your team)”.

Mr. Kiran Karnik, the man behind the foundation of the NASSCOM Emerge Forum, started the session by briefly introducing Mr. Raman Roy. He said that Mr. Raman Roy, given his series of successes, would probably one day be recognized as the “Grandfather of the Indian BPO Industry”.

Sanjay Anandram – Founder, Jumpstartup started the session by highlighting the following key aspects to take care of during the initial stage of starting an Enterprise:

EMERGEOUT Conclave 2008: Defining your Value Proposition
The session started with everyone sharing about the challenges they are facing while creating an organization. Some of the key challenges that people mentioned include defining value proposition, creating a differentiation, retaining employees, scaling up the operations and exploring market opportunities. The hall was fully packed with around 30% of participants standing. Good Participation :-)
EMERGEOUT Conclave 2008: Wooing the Customer..
After a sumptuous lunch, the session started with the topic of “wooing the customer”. It took time for everyone to get organized and seated.
Suresh kicked it off by starting to talk about the word “CUSTOMER”. My question while sitting in the session is why do we have 3 CIO’s as panelists for a session focused on Wooing the Customers. We should find out soon.

On-demand (OD) computing is an increasingly popular enterprise model in which computing resources are made available to the user as needed.
