CIO’s Conclave December 15, 2007
This will be a separate and exclusive track devoted to the IT user community and deliberating on the issues that concerns it. CIOs from leading global companies will discuss key concerns related to multi-sourcing, outsourcing relationships, the risk-reward partnerships and technology trends driving the industry. Global Leadership Awards 2008 December 14, 2007
As in the past years, the Global Leadership Awards will spotlight and applaud some of the most shining names in the business and technology worlds and their distinguishing achievements and contributions. The Awards will be presented to these luminaries at a glittering function at the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum 2008, where the Who’s Who of the IT-BPO sector will gather to felicitate the winners. Some of the well known names on the Global Leadership Awards roster this year include Sam Palmisano, Chairman, IBM (Business Leadership Award), Prof. Amartya Sen (Global Indian Award) and Patrick Snowball, Group Executive Director, Aviva General Insurance (Innovative Business Model Award).
Thought Leaders Conclave December 13, 2007
Some of the best names in the business, academic and industry domains will address the gathering and provide insights on how India can sustain its leadership in the IT-BPO space, move beyond the cost advantage to provide domain expertise and talent and finally, overcome the looming challenges related to manpower shortages and infrastructure. The key theme of the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum 2008 is “Shrinking the world, riding the wave,” which focuses on how the Indian IT-BPO industry is rapidly globalizing and contributing to the development of the world economy. Keynote speakers and analysts will address the issue of how these Indian players can play a greater role on the world stage and tap the billions of dollars of business opportunities arising in new and emerging technologies and markets.

The India Leadership Forum 2008 will build on the successes and achievements of the 2007 Summit, which also drew unparalleled attention from the IT-BPO industry, analysts, academicians and the Government and customer communities. In February this year, the NASSCOM global conclave played host to some of the most reputed names from the world of business and governance, including the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, Dayanidhi Maran, Union Minister of Communications & IT (who delivered keynotes) and Kapil Sibal, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology and Ocean Development, who was the chief guest at the Global Leadership Awards. 16th India Leadership Forum December 10, 2007
A few months from now, NASSCOM will be hosting its 16th India Leadership Forum, the global conclave which has gained significant stature and scale.
