WNS announces multi-year US D 1 billion BPO contract with Aviva
WNS (Holdings) Limited, a leading provider of global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, has entered into a transaction with Aviva, the world’s fifth largest insurance group with USd 95 billion revenue in 2007. The WNS-managed facility in Pune will remain with WNS.

Newgen Software wins the Emerging India Award

Newgen Software Technologies limited, a leader in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) has announced that it has won the CNBC-TV 18 and ICICI Bank Emerging India Awards. Infosys awarded two patents by the United States Patentand Trademark office – patents granted in Holography and Mobile Communications

International house and Merrill Lynch continue to prepare women for leadership positions

Merrill Lynch, one of the world’s leading financial management and advisory companies, has awarded a USD 50,000 grant to renew for the fourth year, its support of the Women’s International Leadership (WIL) Programme at International House. 18 women from 13 countries were chosen to participate in the
2007-08 WIL Programme. Since its inception in 1990, more than 200 women from a variety of cultures and disciplines have participated in this merit-based scholarship programme.
